Signal Match is a small, independent project. This page explains what happens with your data when you use it.
Signal Match has no accounts, no sign-up, and no login -- there's nothing tying anything
you do here to your identity. What your artist searches turn into is a page URL
(e.g. /taylor-swift/fleetwood-mac), not a stored personal record. Search text
you type is held briefly in server memory to speed up repeat searches, then discarded --
it isn't logged against you individually or shared.
Like any website, the hosting infrastructure this runs on (currently Render) keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for operating and securing the service -- this is infrastructure-level logging, not something Signal Match itself collects or uses.
This site may display ads served by Google AdSense and/or other advertising partners. These third parties may use cookies -- including Google's own advertising cookies -- to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Song and artist data (titles, audio characteristics, links) comes from the ReccoBeats API, which in turn aggregates catalog metadata from Spotify. Links to Spotify on this site take you to Spotify's own site, governed by Spotify's own privacy policy, not this one.
Signal Match is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
This policy may be updated as the site changes (for example, if additional advertising or analytics partners are added). The "last updated" date above will reflect the most recent change.
